Whether you have a desire to learn Italian as a second language, want to pick up a few words or phrases for that trip to Italy, or talk to one of your Italian relatives, this is the class for you! Our teachers, Thomas and Antoinette Stuto of Stoneham, have been teaching Adult Education Italian to the local communities for many years. Antoinette also teaches Italian to our students in the Burlington public school system and has been part of a team of teachers that takes their students to Italy every year. In addition to learning the Italian language you will learn many interesting facts about Italy’s culture, people, food and land.

Our Lodge has been organizing and supporting the Italian Language Classes for over ten years, and the program has become one of the areas where we strive for achievement. The program was the inspiration of our former president, Betty Sarcia. Her dream was to teach Italian to members of our Lodge and the Community. This dream and goal was achieved and we have truly educated many people in the last ten years. Many of our students have completed the entire course; some may take the Beginner I course for that “one and only trip to their homeland” and then we have the true and faithful who take both semesters to learn more and to keep their language skills in tune with Antoinette Stuto.

If you have any questions please contact Carol at 617-650-6302 or email at capenonna@yahoo.com. for general information.

For specific information about class content, please call our teacher, Tom Stuto at 617-438-6720.

We look forward to seeing you all again. Don't forget to mail that registration form in early to reserve your place!
